  2. Starting point

    —
Two separate channel sites. To be merged without losing their brand identities.
    —
The change of name and the rebranding had to land consistently across every touchpoint.
    —
Programme and campaigns had to be updated fast. Without a ticket to development.
    —
Competitions, awards and votings needed load-proof, data-protection-compliant solutions.
    —
Viewers were meant to find shows and programme highlights quickly.
  3. Solution

Two channel sites now run in a single TYPO3 installation: The HISTORY Channel and Crime + Investigation share modules, editorial processes and infrastructure while keeping their own brand identity. Programme data arrives automatically via FTP import. Competitions, awards and viewer votings are built from reusable modules that marketing and editorial operate themselves.
